In the north of Australia, you experience two seasons - wet and dry. The dry season runs from May to September with cool nights and clear warm days with the wet season making the days hot and humid with balmy nights and providing some spectacular lightning storms. The lower parts of Australia experience four seasons with lower temperatures in the winter but can experience hot dry summer days.
